Sweet to the Finish
Today I said, "So long, sweet summer," by spending Labor Day in the Adirondacks with some of my brother priests. We took a short hike into beautiful Copperas Pond (between Wilmington and Lake Placid)...
...before enjoying a nice meal out and one last ice cream cone from Donnelly's. (Sigh.) Hints of red here and there among the green made it clear that summer's beginning to give up her fight.
